St Ann's Hospital

St Ann's Hospital is a hospital located opposite Chestnuts Park, on the border of West Green & Harringay in Haringey, north London.
The hospital has until recently been largely a mental health care facility; however, it now also provides outpatient services, which include MRI and ophthalmological services.
It also houses the headquarters for the Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust and formerly housed the ''Haringey NHS PCT''.
The Hospital has a sizeable Mental Health Unit, consisting of an acute assessment ward (Haringey ward); short stay unit (Finsbury ward); Eating Disorders Unit (Phoenix ward); and the Home Treatment Unit (Bruce Castle Unit). Following the 1988 closure of Greentrees Hospital in Palmers Green, a Greentrees rehabilitation unit was established at St Ann's. However, the name Greentrees is still in use when referring to a 50-bed geriatric rehabilitation unit at St Ann's Hospital.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.haringey.nhs.uk/services/specialist/adult_specialist_services/index.shtm )
==Death of Baby P==
(詳細はpaediatrician Dr. Sabah Al-Zayyat. Serious injuries, including a broken back and broken ribs, very likely went undetected (the autopsy report believed these to have pre-dated Al-Zayyat's examination). The GMC examined the role of Dr. Sabah Al-Zayyat, who examined Peter two days before his death. Dr. Al-Zayyat, who has been accused of failing to spot his injuries, was suspended pending an inquiry. Her contract with Great Ormond Street Hospital, responsible for child services in Haringey, has also been terminated.〔
Dr Kim Holt, a consultant paediatrician, who worked in a clinic run by Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital at St Ann's Hospital in Haringey, north London, said she and three colleagues wrote an open letter detailing problems at the clinic in 2006. She claimed baby Peter could have been saved if managers had listened to fears raised by senior doctors.
